a) Eject adaptor by moving button on side of phone down, pull the adaptor out.
b) Take your SIM out of your phone.
d) place your SIM into the supplied adaptor correctly. It has 4 edges that are not all the same. It must be the right way up and around the right way.

Your phone is now ready.
Put aerial up, move to where you have sky and it will search and register. If you phone someone, there will be a slight delay after it dials, so don't hang up. Just wait a few seconds for the satellite.
If the phone says something like "check sim" then its probably not in correctly.
How to put your Telstra Roaming(or satcard) Sim into the 9505A

2. Remove battery
3. Open the simcard holder by sliding it to the left and GENTLY prizing it open.

4 Insert card in holder with the connections down and the chamfered end to the top right.
5. Push the card and holder to the right until it locks.

6. Put battery back into phone, and reattach aerial..
If the phone says something like "check sim" then its probably not in correctly. If it connects and says "invalid account" then its not a current card or it's not on roaming.
It will say "searching" and then "Connected, welcome to Iridium" within a minute, depending upon cloud cover. The green led will flash occasionally when it's connected. It will flash red until then.
